Schedule to the docket map: Monday special-set trials/motions (truancy and early-childhood dockets once monthly); Tuesday delinquency; Wednesday dependency plus monthly Independent Living/Judicial Review/Permanency hearings; Thursday trials and special-set motions; Friday adoptions and delinquency. Matters with in-custody defendants are generally heard first. All hearing materials are due 3 business days before the hearing (page text reads "no later than 3 days business days" — preserved verbatim).

Submit motions for continuance at least five (5) days before the scheduled court date barring exigent circumstances, signed by the party requesting the continuance as Rule 2.545(e) requires (absent good cause). For emergencies, follow Administrative Order 3.206: file a detailed motion stating the issues, why an emergency hearing is necessary, and the time needed per side, with a copy e-mailed to the JA — if the Court finds an emergency, it sets the hearing unilaterally and all parties must make themselves available.

Check the published matrix before moving for remote appearance: in delinquency, youth may appear from school (arranged with the School Liaison) or treatment, parents from jail or treatment, plus DJJ court liaisons, juvenile probation officers, treatment programs, educational representatives, out-of-state and incarcerated parties; in dependency, case managers, CPIs, incarcerated/out-of-state/out-of-county parents, treatment programs, volunteer Guardians ad Litem, and educational representatives. Anyone else files a written Motion to Appear Remotely at least 3 days before, notes any objection after conferral, and submits the proposed order via OLS with the Zoom information. Camera on, microphone muted, professional dress — and under no circumstances from a moving vehicle.
