Generative AI Use Must Be Disclosed on the Face of the Filing — Division FI

Judge PreferencesFI — Family Division FIhigh confidence
PREEMPTED: Under AOSC26-12 (Fla. May 28, 2026, eff. June 15, 2026), courts may not impose AI-disclosure or certification requirements "through local administrative orders, court policies, judicial practices and procedures, or other means" — amended Rule 2.515(d)(2) is the single statewide standard (every signer certifies cited authorities exist and are accurately cited; sanctions after notice). The Division FI page still displayed this requirement when live-verified on July 5, 2026; treat the statewide rule, not this divisional instruction, as the governing obligation. Original division requirement as verified: If any generative artificial intelligence tool was used in preparing a filing, disclose that use on the face of the filing. Applies to attorneys and self-represented litigants alike.
