13-5-119. Eighteenth district. (1) The eighteenth judicial district shall be composed of Arapahoe county. (2) (a) The number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district shall be fourteen. (b) Subject to available appropriations, effective July 1, 2002, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district shall be fifteen. (c) Subject to available appropriations, effective July 1, 2003, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district shall be sixteen. (d) (I) Subject to available appropriations, effective July 1, 2004, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district shall be seventeen. (II) Subject to available appropriations, effective July 1, 2007, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district shall be eighteen. (III) Subject to available appropriations, effective July 1, 2008, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district shall be twenty. (IV) Subject to available appropriations, effective July 1, 2009, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district shall be twenty-one. (V) Subject to available appropriations, effective July 1, 2014, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district is twenty-three. (VI) Subject to available appropriations, effective January 1, 2020, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district is twenty-four. (VII) Subject to available appropriations, effective January 1, 2025, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district is seventeen. (VIII) Subject to available appropriations, effective July 1, 2025, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district is eighteen. (IX) Subject to available appropriations, effective July 1, 2026, the number of judges for the eighteenth judicial district is nineteen.
