Texas judges & the bench
A judge's standing orders and procedures are a real constraint — but they are never flattened into law, and we never claim coverage we do not have. Here is exactly what is loaded about the Texas bench, and what is not yet.
Loaded — the court structure
- The full forum map — the two high courts, district / county-court-at-law / justice / probate / business court, and the 14 courts of appeals. See the courts map.
- The 11 administrative judicial regions (Gov't Code ch. 74) — the presiding-judge layer that assigns visiting judges and hears certain recusals.
- The per-county courts-at-law JURISDICTION, section by section, from the loaded Government Code ch. 25.
- The statewide local rules, forms, and standing orders posted on OCA's TOPICS — the per-court documents that are effective by operation of Rule 10. See the local-law board.
Not yet loaded — stated honestly
Individual judge biographies and per-judge procedure cards are not yet in the corpus. The Office of Court Administration's live judicial directory (card.txcourts.gov) requires authentication, so the platform does not scrape it — and it will not present a judge-procedure card it has not verified. When per-judge coverage is loaded, each card will carry its source and last-verified date, the same as every other unit.
