Texas attorneys
If you want counsel, here is how the Texas attorney connection works — and it works differently from Florida's, because Texas law requires it to.
How it works — and how it does NOT
- Attorneys who advertise Texas traffic and civil practice.
- Browse listings and contact any attorney directly — you choose.
- Listings are paid advertising, arranged and billed by each firm; the platform does not refer, match, or recommend.
Tex. Occ. Code ch. 952; Tex. Disciplinary Rules 7.01-7.06
ADVERTISING directory only: flat listing subscription. No matching, no selection, no per-lead, no referral language. Dormant-until-keys AND Texas UPL counsel sign-off.
Not yet live — stated plainly
The Texas attorney directory is built and dormant. It does not list attorneys or charge a fee until Texas UPL and advertising counsel confirms the advertising-only structure clears Occ. Code ch. 952 and Disciplinary Rules 7.01–7.06. Until then: the State Bar of Texas Lawyer Referral & Information Service (texasbar.com, 1-800-252-9690) is the bar-run referral service, and your local legal-aid office may be able to help.
