Seven layers · the local book wins

The Nevada rule stack

Which text governs your question, in which order — every layer loaded verbatim or honestly marked absent. Two Nevada wrinkles run through the whole stack: evidence is statutory, and under DCR 5 the local book supersedes the statewide DCR even when they conflict.

1

The Nevada Constitution

Art. 1 § 3's jury right, 'inviolate forever' — and art. 6 vests the judicial power. Nineteen articles, loaded whole.

2

The Nevada Revised Statutes

The statutes — the limitations ladder (11.190), the arbitration gate (38.250), the HOA mediation gate (38.310), the eviction machine's JUDICIAL days (40.253), the escalating med-mal cap (41A.035), and STATUTORY EVIDENCE: Title 4 (ch. 47-56) is Nevada's evidence law; no rules family exists to outrank it.

3

The statewide court rules (NRCP · JCRCP · NRAP and thirteen siblings)

Court-promulgated, loaded from the LCB's consolidated pages. JCRCP was wholly replaced (ADKT 0607) to mirror the NRCP — the same clocks run above and below the $15,000 line.

4

THE ADKT TEMPORAL LAYER

The Supreme Court amends by ADKT order: 0607 (JCRCP) · 0615 (NEFCR) · 0619 (DCR) · 0620 (the civil-traffic rules) are APPLIED with the pages' own stamps as proof; ADKT 0630's claimed ADR/short-trial amendments stay UNVERIFIED on the watch until the docket answers.

5

The District Court Rules — and THE INVERSE

The DCR is the statewide floor for motion practice (14-day oppositions; failure to oppose may be consent) — but DCR 5 makes the LOCAL book WIN: local rules 'shall be applied in each instance whether they are the same as or inconsistent with these rules.' Most states run the opposite direction.

6

The local books (16 loaded; two honest absences)

Nine district books (EDCR is the Eighth's) and seven justice-court books, from the LCB's own pages. The 5th and 6th Judicial Districts publish no LCB book — recorded as an absence, never papered over.

7

The federal rim

The D. Nev. Local Rules of Practice (whole book) and the Ninth Circuit (shared with the Arizona build — the first loader owns the shared prefix).
